Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 9, 2025

Lyfe Health values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our website. By accessing or using Lyfe Health, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

Section 01

Information We Collect

We may collect personal information that you provide directly to us, such as your name, surname, email address, country, language preferences, and any voluntary content you choose to share — for example, journaling notes in the app.

When you make payments to remove ads or access premium services through our website, certain payment and billing information may be processed securely through our payment partners (such as Wix Payments, PayPal, or Stripe). Lyfe Health does not store your credit card details.

For donations, we use Ko-fi. This platform is responsible for the collection and processing of any personal information in connection with donations, and their privacy policy will apply.

We also use cookies and analytics tools, including Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Facebook Pixel, to collect browsing data, measure performance, and deliver personalized advertising.

Section 02

How We Use Your Data

The personal information we collect is used to provide and improve our services. This includes sending newsletters and notifications about new articles, managing your account, processing payments, improving user experience, and delivering advertising and remarketing through Google Ads and Facebook Pixel. We also use Google Analytics to analyze usage patterns and improve performance.

Lyfe Health does not sell personal information to third parties.

Section 03

Sharing of Data with Third Parties

We may share your information with trusted service providers who help us operate our Services. This may include hosting providers, email delivery services, and payment processors such as Wix, PayPal, or Stripe. For advertising and analytics, we share certain data with providers such as Google and Facebook, which may use cookies and identifiers to deliver ads.

For donations, all data is processed directly by Ko-fi under their own terms and privacy policy. Lyfe Health is not responsible for how that platform manages data.

Section 04

Data Storage and Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to safeguard your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Data may be stored on servers located in Canada, the United States, or the European Union, depending on the service provider we use — for example Wix, Google, or PayPal.

Section 05

Data Retention

Your personal data is retained for as long as your account remains active or your subscription continues. Once you delete your account, we will keep your data only for a short period as required for legal or operational purposes.

Section 06

Your Rights

In line with applicable privacy regulations — including GDPR (European Union), PIPEDA (Canada), and Habeas Data (Latin America) — you have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Request access to your personal information
  • Ask for corrections to inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Withdraw your consent at any time
  • Request portability of your data, where applicable

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@lyfehealth.ca.

Section 07

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience on our website. These include essential cookies required for the site to function, as well as analytics and advertising cookies.

Specifically, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our site, Google Ads for remarketing campaigns, and Facebook Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. These tools may collect data such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on pages.

You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings or through any consent management tool provided on our website. Disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of some features.

Section 08

Minors

Our Services are intended for general audiences. If you are under the minimum age required by local law — 13 years in the United States or 16 years in the European Union — you should only use Lyfe Health with the consent of a parent or guardian.

Section 09

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on our website and app, with the "last updated" date updated accordingly. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.

Section 10
